Cleveland Museum of Art Chalk Festival This Weekend

Just remembered, the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Chalk Festival takes place this weekend, Saturday, September 20 from 11am-5pm and Sunday, September 21 from noon-5pm.   The event is free if you just want to come see the chalk artists.  If you and your littles ones want to express themselves in chalk, it’s $16 for a large square of sidewalk with a 24-color box of chalk and $8 to chalk up a small one with a 12-color box.

A few years ago the hubby and I were walking around Wade Lagoon and I remember seeing chalk art on the sidewalks near the museum.   I had no idea at the time that there was an annual chalk festival.  It seems like it would be tons of fun for the kids.

If you go, please come back to this post and comment on your experience.   Or, have you maybe gone to the Chalk Festival in years past?

Until next time,

Lorelei
