Cedar Point HalloWeekends Starts Tomorrow

Just got my latest Cedar Point email update:

All You Fear… Is Here! HalloWeekends Begin Friday!
HalloWeekends, our annual Halloween event full of frights and family-friendly delights, begins this Friday, September 16 and this year, we’re giving you two new reasons to scream!

New for 2011 is Blood on the Bayou, where nightmares live in the shadows, gruesome terrors freeze your blood and the dead walk, searching for new prey.

Also new this year is Maniacal Mechanical Screamworks. Journey into science fiction past and future to explore a sinister, steamy subculture that never was, but might have been.

For more information on these and our eight other terrifying attractions, visit our HalloWeekends website.

If frights aren’t for you, we have lots of great family-friendly activities including FOUR new floats in our Monster Midway Invasion Celebration Parade! Check out a full listing of family activities on our website.

Cedar Point Discount Extended

On May 30 I wrote about some Cedar Point discounts here.   Looks as though those discounts have been extended, however it isn’t certain how long the discounts will last, so if you are looking to go to Cedar Point this summer, you may want to take advantage and buy your tickets online soon.

Details are:

Also, Cedar Point has some really great offers for tickets on their website right now…   The goal this year is that the best offers of Cedar Point ticket discounts will only be available through their website (though discount tickets are still available at Giant Eagle and Discount Drug Mart).    If visiting Cedar Point is an annual tradition for your family, check out the exclusive online deals.  A four-pack of tickets, good anytime during the 2008 season, for $132 (more than 50% off full-price admission), or a two day anytime pass for $52.95 (does NOT have to be used two days in a row).  Visit http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/admission/tickets/deals.cfm.

Plus, Cedar Point is launching a new website this week, so make sure to check it out.

Until next time,

Cedar Point Discount Tickets and Geauga Lake’s Wildwater Kingdom

Here’s a quick post, I found out some neat information at a meeting out a Cedar Point this past Wednesday.

For those living near Geauga Lake, now called Geauga Lake’s Wildwater Kingdom (yes, the waterpark is still open and is super nice!), you can get a season pass for $44.95 ($34.95 for kids 2-3, under 2 are free) that gives you unlimited access to the waterpark and swimming lessons or Jr. Lifeguard class (for an extra $25) at the park!    If I were a stay-at-home mom, even though I’m a good half an hour from there, I’d buy a season pass just to have a fun place to go every other week to play in the water.   You can’t get a membership to the YMCA that cheap!  Visit www.wildwaterfun.com for more info.

Also, Cedar Point has some really great offers for tickets on their website right now through June 15th.   The goal this year is that the best offers of Cedar Point ticket discounts will only be available through their website (though discount tickets are still available at Giant Eagle and Discount Drug Mart).

Hopefully some people will get good use out of these ticket deals.

Until next time,

Lorelei
