Fall is Coming! What Will You Do This Weekend?

The other day I said to the hubby, “I love fall.  In Cleveland, fall is a bit like Mardi Gras.    There’s all sorts of fun things to get out and do, it’s like we’re trying to have one last big hurray before the big freeze.”  And then I get this week’s CoolCleveland enewsletter and it’s so true.   I’m not even going to bother listing all of the cool things to do in Cleveland this weekend, including IngenuityFest, the Cleveland Dragon Boat Festival, Tremont Arts and Cultural Festival and Johnny Appleseed Festival, because someone else has already done all of the work for me:

and

And these are just some of the big events.   There’s always something happening outdoors in the Metroparks, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, in our own communities and at various local farms throughout the area.

What will you be doing this weekend?

Until next time,

Lorelei

  1. Amara and I are out of town this weekend, which bummed us out because the dragon boat races are one of our fall favorites. But you are right, fall in CLE is pretty wonderful. Great time of year!

    • Monina, fall is so beautiful here. I’m really excited about going to pick some apples, hayrides and decorating pumpkins! I realy do think it may be my favorite season in Ohio.

  2. If you are wanting to get out of the city and visit a farm now that the weather is cooling down a bit, check out: http://www.pumpkinpatchesandmore.org/OHpcleveland.php

There’s a great list of area farms including activities at each, listed by county.
