Whipps Ledges: Awesome Place For Kids’ Hiking

About a week ago I was sharing with my neighbor some places I’ve been wanting to take the kiddo.   Now that we live somewhere between Cleveland and Akron, one park I’ve wanted to visit is Hinckley Reservation so that we could explore Whipps Ledges.    She apparently was interested, because as a last-minute excursion Saturday morning, she invited us along with her, her hubby, and her two kids (ages 7 and 8).   I hadn’t been there since I was a kid, so I had vague memories of what to expect.

Since it was last minute, and I had both the kiddo and the baby, we only spent about an hour and a half there, but it was so much fun.    Lots for the kids to climb around on and explore.    We could have easily spent twice as much time, and it is so cool and shady it would make for a good adventure on a hot, sunny day.

Here are some useful links:

Enjoy!

Until next time,
