CoolCleveland.com’s List of Kids Events

As I mentioned earlier this week, I resigned and now have two weeks left of work.  Which means, lots to do/transition/get done and not much time for writing or thinking of anything else.  The pay-off for the anxiety and heart palpitations I am now experiencing at night when I go to bed is that I get to leave to Hawaii three days after I leave work.

Point being, I don’t plan on writing much these next few days, but will try to provide any info I come across as it relates to what to do with the kiddos around Cleveland during these times of beautiful, cold and clammy weather we are experiencing.   I must say though, it is perfect weather for toboganning at the Chalet in Strongsville…and then warming up with a bit of hot cocoa after.   Yum!

Anyhow, CoolCleveland.com has a weekly enewsletter that goes out, and is now planning to focus even more on promoting all there is for cool kids in Cleveland.   Here’s a list of kids events included in this week’s issue, and make sure to check out the Kids Podcast for the week as well as the rest of this week’s newsletter here.

Have you heard about the new children’s book? Called The Secret of the Sacred Scarab, it’s a thrilling adventure for two young boys, whose fun trip to Egypt turns into a dangerously exciting quest to uncover an ancient and mysterious secret.
Young explorers will enjoy an interactive journey through Egypt, following Justin and Adam’s exciting adventure on http://www.secretofthesacredscarab.com. Readers can also browse the first chapter of the book and there is a Book Glossary for interested readers. Those who survive the journey and manage to translate the Curse of Thoth will be able to read the first chapter in Adam and Justin’s next adventure—The Search for the Stone of Excalibur—as they hunt for the Scroll of the Ancients. T-shirts, mugs and Stones of Power are available for purchase on the site.
The book is available internationally through Amazon.com and selected online book sites as well as Barnes & Noble Book Stores.
