Free Admission to Some Cleveland Museums This Saturday

Got this info in an email from the Oberlin Heritage Center this week:

Free admission to the following Cleveland museums this Saturday, September 27, 2008 as part of the Smithsonian Magazine’s 4th Annual Museum Day:

  • Oberlin Heritage Center (guided tours at 10:30am and 1:30pm)
  • Cleveland Museum of Natural History
  • International Women’s Air and Space Museum (Cleveland)
  • Milan Historical Society (Milan)
  • MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) Cleveland
  • Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum
  • The Children’s Museum of Cleveland
  • Toledo Museum of Art

Visitors must present the Museum Day Admission Card, available in the September 2008 Smithsonian issue, or in a downloadable version available at the Museum Day website, www.Smithsonianmagazine.com/museumday. The admission card provides free admission for a visitor and one guest to any of the hundreds of participating museums across the country.  This annual celebration allows for one day only the free-admission policy of the Smithsonian’s Washington, D.C.-based properties to be emulated throughout America.

Until next time,

Lorelei
