Vatican Splendors

So my mom and I are sitting here watching a special on the new exhibit at the Western Reserve Historical Society, Vatican Splendors.    I think I may plan a day for us to go and bring my sister with us.    They are both very Catholic, and while I am not, it looks like a beautiful exhibit and I also wish that I had known more about Pope John Paul II while he was alive.   The tiara of Pope Pius the VII is on display and contains one of the world’s largest emeralds, plus there are also several of the various pope’s garments and a gallery about Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict.     The exhibit is here all summer, and Cleveland is one of only three cities in the US to host this exhibit, so hopefully we’ll all be able to find a weekend to head over there and check it out.

Until next time,
