This holiday season, join Positively Cleveland, The Plain Dealer and A Christmas Story House and Museum in celebrating a cult classic holiday film’s 25th anniversary.

Just as Miss Shields asked her class to write an essay about “What I want for Christmas,” we invite you to tell us what you really, really want this holiday season. Submit a 400-word essay detailing your own wish list and enter to win a few presents on us – almost as good as an official red ryder carbine-action two-hundred-shot range model air rifle.

For Christmas this year, I want the government to help people stay in their homes. I want the stock market to jump 800 points. I want homeless people to have warm beds and a full bellies. I want Osama bin Laden caught and killed. I want companies to stop making job cuts. I want to reverse global warming.
